Company News | Fast Response! We Successfully Fixed the Lighting System for Shiyan State Grid Exhibition Hall
Recently, the Shiyan State Grid Exhibition Hall needed urgent help with their lights. Our engineer, Liu Liang, quickly went to the site. He fixed a problem where the lights were not moving at the same time under the 485 control mode. With his fast and professional work, he finished the job perfectly, and the client was very happy with the result.
1. Finding the Problem on Site
When Liu Liang arrived, he checked everything carefully based on what the client wanted.
The Goal: The client wanted all the lights to change scenes and follow commands at the exact same time.
The Problem: He found that each light was using its own separate wire and port. Because signals travel through different wires at slightly different speeds, there was a small time delay. This stopped the lights from working together smoothly.
2. How We Fixed It
To solve this, Liu Liang made two simple but smart changes in both hardware and software:
Fixing the Wires (Hardware): He changed the wiring setup. Instead of giving each light a separate line, he connected all five lights to the exact same wire loop. This way, all lights receive the same command at the very same moment, completely fixing the timing problem.
Changing the Software Settings (Software): He noticed that the machines needed a tiny bit of time to reset after each move. If commands were sent too fast, the lights would miss them. So, he changed the settings to add a tiny 100-millisecond delay after each command, and then sent it again just to be sure. This stopped the lights from missing any orders and made the whole system super stable.
3. The Final Result
After Liu Liang worked hard through the night, all technical problems were 100% solved:
Perfect Timing: The five lights now share one signal line. There is no more delay, and they switch perfectly at the same time.
More Stable: With the 100-ms delay setting, the machines no longer glitch or miss commands.
Passed Inspection: The lights are now working perfectly. The State Grid management team checked the project on-site and approved it immediately.
This project shows our core promise: Fast response, professional work, and putting our clients first. Our team will keep up the good work to make sure every project runs safely and smoothly!
